Tee It Up is a unique Golf Academy that empowers students to grow and develop as they discover new skills and interests. It strives to create a safe, experience-rich environment that will lead to incredible adventures and endless memories.
ABOUT TEE IT UP
Tee It Up is a golf academy under the Allen High School Golf Team, where team members volunteer to instruct participants. We welcome students of all ages and skill levels to participate in lessons at The Courses at Watters Creek. We have a high staff to student ratio that ensures every student at Tee It Up has an amazing and unique experience in a safe and fun atmosphere.
OUR PROGRAM
The weekly Tee It Up schedule balances fun activities and drills. For the students who have never played golf before, we will start with the basics such as grip, posture, and stance and move on from there. For the students who have played golf before, we will design drills and activities that will benefit their game. Whether it’s learning a new skill or engaging in friendly competition, we offer something for everyone to enjoy.
WEEKLY INSTRUCTION
Each week we will host two academy lessons: One at 2:00 pm on Sundays and one at 3:00 pm on Sundays. At these lessons, we will divide students into groups based on skill level to participate in games and activities. We will be teaching putting, chipping, and full swing.
TOURNAMENTS
Once every six months we will take students on the course to participate in a tournament within the academy, allowing them to practice their skills on an actual course and have some friendly competition.
